Ensuring lasting success

Business continuity management (BCM), or emergency and crisis management is a systematic process used to identify, quantify and document business-critical events as well as defining measures to ensure the best possible continuation of business activity.

BCM has both a strategic and an operational dimension: The strategic dimension of BCM serves to address the outsourcing of specific processes right up to global production strategies, or the selection of a site for the company.

The operational dimension of BCM aims to maintain business-critical processes or, if a serious event occurs, to ensure a minimum level of service. It establishes the requirements for preventative as well as reactive measures to protect people, assets and the value chain.

Kessler Consulting uses the best-practice approach of the Business Continuity Institute, Caversham (GB) and British Standard 25999 in order
to keep pace with the increasingly complex world of today's business. Combined with our experience, this offers our clients a structured and comprehensive approach to the introduction of a successful BCM.
