OUR FOCUS
We want to make a valuable contribution to sustainable development. In addition to reducing carbon emissions and promoting our employees’ health and wellbeing, we are focusing on raising awareness of and strengthening sustainable behavior among our customers and partners.
From this, we have defined the following goals as part of our commitment to Swiss Triple Impact (STI).
Goal 1: Core Business (SDG 8 and 12)
By 2023, we transparently disclose the ESG rating of our main suppliers, i.e. insurers, collective foundations and health insurances, to our clients, to lead an ESG dialogue with our suppliers and customers.
Goal 2: Internal Operations (SDG 3, 4, 8)
By 2024, we raise awareness of decent work for all and the relevance of Workplace Health Management among 80 % of our 250 major clients, of which the largest employers in Switzerland, by conducting over 800 visits to our clients and prospects.
Goal 3: Internal Operations (SDG 3, 4, 8)
By 2023, we reduce the absenteeism rate to 2 % and promote decent work for all by strengthening mental and physical health and well-being and motivation of all our employees.
Goal 4: Internal Operations (SDG 13)
By 2030, we reduce our tCO2eq emissions by 50 % (Scopes 1 & 2) compared to 2019, aiming at being Net Zero.
SWISS TRIPLE IMPACT
The Swiss Triple Impact is a solution-oriented sustainability program for businesses. It was developed by B Lab Switzerland, a leading organization in systems change that works to transform the global economy to benefit all people and communities, and the planet.
The Swiss Triple Impact program was co-initiated by the Swiss federal government (Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, SDC) and the Global Compact Network Switzerland & Liechtenstein. It is aligned with the national and international 2030 Agenda, based on the framework of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
In October 2022 Kessler was added to the STI Directory, which lists Swiss companies that have taken credible pledges to contribute to the SDGs. Businesses that are listed in the STI Directory go through a performance review process in which B Lab Switzerland assesses each pledge’s significance to sustainability, as well as a detailed action plan drawn up by the business to demonstrate how it will achieve its pledges. STI Directory Leaders have completed the SDG Action Manager online tool about all their prioritized SDGs, and also provided a signed commitment letter from the CEO. https://blab-switzerland.ch/de/company/kessler-co-ag-2/
