Change to the Kessler Executive Committee and appointment of two new Heads of Business Unit

Zurich, November 29, 2023 – Kessler appoints Yves Krismer and Martin Rohrbach to the Executive Committee from January 1, 2024. They will be taking over from Roger Konrad and Helmut Studer, who are stepping down from the committee. Both will remain with the company and focus their attention on working with clients.

Yves Krismer and Martin Rohrbach will be joining Kessler’s Executive Committee from January 1, 2024. Yves Krismer will assume responsibility for the International clients as well as the Marsh Network, while Martin Rohrbach will take charge of the client units in German-speaking Switzerland.

Yves Krismer has worked for Kessler in various capacities since 1997 – including as Head of Client Advisory and as an M&A specialist. Most recently, he has been managing the Services & Consumer Goods business unit and has been a Member of the Senior Management Committee and part of the Executive Staff. He has an MBA from the University of Rochester and an Executive MBA from the University of Bern. Roger Konrad, Member of the Executive Committee, is delighted to see Yves Krismer chosen as his successor: “Yves Krismer has accomplished all of the tasks and activities entrusted to him over the years with great success and continuously expanded the business. With his commitment and experience, he will be a tremendous asset to the committee.”

Martin Rohrbach joined Kessler in 2007 as a Client Executive and Broker. Most recently, he has been responsible for the Construction & Real Estate business unit and has been a Member of the Senior Management Committee and part of the Executive Staff. He, too, has an MBA from the University of Rochester and an Executive MBA from the University of Bern. Helmut Studer, Member of the Executive Committee, is keen to congratulate Martin Rohrbach on his appointment: “His dedication and track record are phenomenal, and not just in his particular Business Unit. Martin Rohrbach has also set new milestones for clients and for Kessler as a whole with the development of the blue line concept.”

Tom Kessler, Managing Partner, added: “Helmut Studer, as General Counsel, will carry on managing the Legal & Compliance unit and remain on the Board of Directors of Kessler & Co Inc. in Vaduz. The Executive Committee has also appointed two new Heads of Business Unit, who will take up their posts from January 1, 2024. Marc Bollag will take over the Construction & Real Estate business unit, while Lukas Bubb will be responsible for Services & Consumer Goods.

Marc Bollag joined Kessler in 2022 as a Client Executive. He has played an instrumental role in developing and implementing the Construction & Real Estate business unit strategy. He is also currently studying for an MBA at Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) in Winterthur. Martin Rohrbach: “Marc Bollag’s dedication to the construction industry, his expertise and his leadership qualities make him the ideal candidate for this position. I wish him every success and enjoyment in his new role.”

Lukas Bubb has worked for Kessler since 2019 as a Client Executive. He offers substantial experience in client consulting and providing legal support in challenging claims cases. He studied law at the University of Zurich and spent several years working as a claims lawyer and as Team Leader Special Risks. Yves Krismer: “Lukas Bubb’s strengths and expertise are ideally suited to his new role and will enable him to develop the business unit even further. I wish him all the best and every success in tackling his new tasks and challenges.”

From January 1, 2024, the new Executive Committee with its adjusted responsibilities will be comprised of the following members:
