Kessler strengthens client cyber crisis units thanks to Threema

Zurich, November 7, 2023 – Kessler launches a new service allowing clients to strengthen their cyber crisis unit with Threema.

In cooperation with Threema, Kessler’s clients can benefit from a new service. Cyber risks rank among the top three business risks for most companies. When a crisis hits, communication is crucial. Many companies do not have a secure external communications platform for their crisis team. This is where Kessler comes in, offering the Threema Work business messenger as an add-on to its cyber insurance.

Threema Work is a Swiss business messaging solution. Threema operates its own servers in two physically separate, redundant data centers in Switzerland. All communication is end-to-end encrypted. Messages are deleted as soon as they are transmitted successfully, and no data is stored. This makes Threema Work the secure communications platform in the event of cyber losses.

Pascal Schweingruber, Member of the Executive Committee at Kessler, is delighted about the cooperation: “The idea came from our experience in claims. I’m delighted to be able to be able to offer our clients a pragmatic and effective solution with Threema Work.” Miguel Rodriguez, Member of the Management Board at Threema, adds: “The partnership between Threema and Kessler is part of a shared mission: to safeguard the security and stability of businesses in the digital world and comply with the regulatory requirements governing cyber security and data protection.”
